...or aged.
Send Away The Tigers is the first album since James Dean Bradfield and Nicky Wire each released their own respective solo efforts, and it's not difficult to see how there individual efforts have inspired a new bouyancy with this latest Manics release. It's as loud and obnoxious as their lyrical attacks on the likes of Tony Blair and the US for their role in the GenevaConvention recently.
Track Overview:
'Your Love Alone Is Not Enough' Featuring Nina Perrson (of Cardigan fame). I was suitably surprised to learn of the Manics choice to duet with an artist like this. Remembering the Cardigans stint of the 90's, Perrson's voice was lighjt, airy and bubbly, hardly in-keeping with the more brutish and bolshty sounds of the Manics. This album is very similer to car boot soul but not as mellow in a good way its something that you would play if you had 1 or 2 mates round sitting playing chess, pc or playstation and with a bong in the middle. Asking your mate what cloud, i mean level are you on.

Advantages: great music, new ideas Disadvantages: not everyones cup of tea

I first heard this whilst browsing myspace music and was astonished by the track, feeling it was my ultimate summer song this year. However soon enough, hear-say and myspace spread the sound of MGMT like a plague and before you knew it Channel 4 were using it as a backdrop...
