A Reintroduction to Glen Campbell

Advantages: Classic songs sung beautifully, great instrumentalists and orchestra

Capitol record label, his greatest success was with recordings of songs written by Jimmy Webb, including "Galveston", "Witchita Lineman" and "Where's the Playground, Susie". My rudiments of American geography were gleaned from hearing "By the Time I Get to Phoenix" as a child. Campbell's career went into decline in the late 70s and he has had battles with drugs and alcohol - the usual demons to hit successful artists unfortunately - and while his back catalogue will always keep him in work, as a fine singer and guitar player his talents hadn't been utilised properly for some time. The Album Producer Julian Raymond came up with the concept for "Meet Glen Campbell" which brought Campbell back to the Capitol fold in 2008. The Apple Of My i

Advantages: Full Internet, Massive storage, Great design, Superb battery life.
Disadvantages: The Megapixel of the camera is put to shame by other phones available.

I had been waiting for this day for some time. My 18 month contract with T-Mobile is coming up for renewal next week, however having had problems gaining reception in my area I'd opted to look elsewhere for a new contract. A few weeks back my problems were solved when I was shopping around to try and find the best mobile contract, and discovered that O2 would be stocking the Apple iPhone as of November the 9th. Not only was I looking for a new mobile contract, but also a replacement MP3 player so the Apple iPhone seemed ideal. I made plans to purchase the iPhone and on the evening of release made my way down to the nearest O2 store upon finishing work, bagging myself my very own iPhone at a price of £269. Although the price did seem a little steep, especially considering that I would be paying out a further £35 a month for the contract ...

Advantages: touch screen, lightweight, good battery life
Disadvantages: possibility of getting the screen or the shiny back scratched

I purchased this product in November 2008, as a Christmas present for my fiancé. She had hinted at getting a new ipod, as her previous one was the 2 GB ipod nano from a few years back. I walked into the apple shop that had recently opened up in Belfast, surrounded by the whole apple range I looked at a couple different models from the new 8 GB nano to the ipod classic. But my eyes finally came to a halt upon the shiny surface of the 8 GB ipod touch. I knew instantly that this was the present that I was to buy her.
