...Capitol record label, his greatest success was with recordings of songs written by Jimmy Webb, including "Galveston", "Witchita Lineman" and "Where's the Playground, Susie". My rudiments of American geography were gleaned from hearing "By the Time I Get to Phoenix" as a child. Campbell's career went into decline in the late 70s and he has had battles with drugs and alcohol - the usual demons to hit successful artists unfortunately - and while his back catalogue will always keep him in work, as a fine singer and guitar player his talents hadn't been utilised properly for some time. The Album Producer Julian Raymond came up with the concept for "Meet Glen Campbell" which brought Campbell back to the Capitol fold in 2008. ...I purchased this product in November 2008, as a Christmas present for my fiancé. She had hinted at getting a new ipod, as her previous one was the 2 GB ipod nano from a few years back. I walked into the apple shop that had recently opened up in Belfast, surrounded by the whole apple range I looked at a couple different models from the new 8 GB nano to the ipod classic. Advantages: Inspirational
Disadvantages: Hard to put down

...It certainly was a very sad day when I discovered that Patrick Swayze had lost his battle against cancer, the odds were against him, but I thought that, like in the movies, it might have a happy ending. Sadly that wasn't to be. I have to admit I did cry and it was mainly for selfish reasons, I felt a part of my youth had died. Dirty Dancing was a huge hit when I was in my teens the 'nobody puts baby in a corner' line is one that most women my age will always remember. Many a happy time with the girls round, bottle of wine (ok a few bottles) watching Dirty Dancing and Ghost.....ah happy days. The Time of My Life Is a book that once started can't be put down, so please make sure you have some time on your hands before you start reading!
