Advantages: Fantastic Hit records Disadvantages: A few you don`t know
...Mr GeorgeBenson has come to my music rescue and delived us his greatest hits of all.
This album cost me £11.99 from Play.com (a great price).
1) Give Me The Night - Released in 1980. A brilliant song that most of us will remember. A song that some of us (30 plus) will remember from our teen discos and youth club nights. `Cause there`s music in the air and lots of loving everywhere, Give me the Night. Taken form the Album - Give Me The Night.
2) Turn Your Love Around - Released in 1981. Another brilliant song. Again, one that sticks in my mind and brings back lots of great memories from my youth. `Turn your love around, don`t you show me how`. Great song. Taken from the Album - The GeorgeBenson Collection.
3) Never Give Up On A Good Thing - Released in 1982, this is one that holds memories of the year my eldest daughter...

Advantages: Value for money; comprehensive; uplifting; music for the soul! Disadvantages: Could have been a 2 disc set!
...If you're starting out as a GeorgeBenson fan or just being a completist, this is definitely the compilation to go for!
Perfect for summer days and really uplifting for the winter nights.
I had this album on constant replay when I was revising for my exams this year and judging by my results, something inspired me!
Whether you want to freak out or chill out, this is the album for you. If you were a fan of Michael Jackson's 'Off the wall' or anything Quincy Jones was producing in the late 70s/early 80s (Brothers Johnson, 'Ai No Corrida' etc.) you're bound to love 'Give me the night' or 'Love x Love.'
However, this album has much more to give! The compilation features George's most commercially successful recordings whilst at Warner from the dance-floor disco-edged fillers like 'Give Me The Night,' 'Turn Your Love Around' and 'Lady...

Advantages: Great value for money Disadvantages: Some better material has been missed out
...I bought this album on double cassette the week it was released in 1998 on the Sony label; George needed to finish his contract off somehow.
It cost me £9.99. However the CD is now £9.99 in HMV. The cover mainly consists of album sleeves but there is a beautiful shot of George and his dog. She's looking suitably bored!
I love the album title as it also hints at his past bi-sexuality. It's very cheeky, which is typical of George. One cassette is sub-titled "For The Heart" and the other is called "For The Feet". Sides One and Two are a collection of love songs and ballads and Sides Three and Four have the more uptempo tracks. I'll go through each track. The thing that strikes you on the first listen is that many of George's songs don't make sense next to each other. The structures are so different and there are few...
