The Album Review
"At the Back of Beyond" starts the album off. The song starts with nice violin and keyboard before the power metal sounds ignite the course of the song. As mentioned these are a symphonic power metal band and therefore there is an additional classical music feel to the music to and that is very evident in the tracks. In this track along with the fast percussion and lead guitars the violin playing is luscious. The novel thing about Visions of Atlantis...

Advantages: Masterpiece of musical theatre Disadvantages: Ending is little too "all lived happily ever after"
...The Threepenny Opera transforms opera to the musical theatre. Originally adapted from John Gay’s The Beggar’s opera in 1928, to Die Dreigroschenoper, by German composer Kurt Weill and lyricist Bertolt Brecht, the score weaves together elements of grand opera with cabaret and jazz. Brecht met Weill in 1927, when the two men discussed using the genre of opera to combine their respective abilities. Their first collaboration was the songspiel, The Little Mahagonny performed during 1927. The two men soon then started work on a full-scale opera. Brecht took on the script of the Beggars Opera for Weill to write the modern melodies and Brecht added several new scenes and songs.
A CD of the Threepenny Opera can be purchased for £12.99 from most good music...

The music is easily accessible and yet is categorised firmly in the Progressive/Symphonic Rock area. They started in 1997 as a Pink Floyd tribute band and demonstrate there heritage by playing 3 Floyd tracks on the 2nd cd, very much in their own style.
The band consists of 5 members who are all strong musicians in there own right, though of particular mention is Yogi Lang on Vocals and Kalle Wallner lead guitarist, who also do the bulk of the songwriting in English.
I enjoyed the song 'Roses' which features the always...
