Not having another Sprung Monkey album means I can't compare "Get A Taste" to their others, but I wil give my opinion on this one:
It's really great!
The choruses are catchy ( although this can be a little wearing after 9 or so songs), and the harmonies are lovely - no dissonance ... Read review

Advantages: Tuneful and harmonic Disadvantages: Too "Californian" for some!

This is definitely a band to watch, but more importantly one to listen to (VERY LOUD!)
Tracks:
1."What's that you say" - excellent start (good drum rhythm start)
2."Get A Taste" - not really my style (a little too "stoner"!)
3."Beautiful" - good harmonies and catchy chorus
4."Party Like A Rock Star" - original sound, part nearly-rap, ... ...shouty than the previous ones
6."American Made" - this one grows on you, it's a bit of a shock, being far more "rock" than the previous tracks, but with more listening it improves 7."Unexpected" - learned to play this on the bass and now know the song pretty well, pretty funny lyrics - "woke up with the sleep in my eyes, turned around to a big surprise, lying there next to me was the ugliest girl that I'd ever seen so I ran to the bathroom, and ...
