The second thing is the remote control. It's absolutely tiny; sleek and stylish. I realise for most people, this would be a very good thing. In our image concious society, everything seems to be getting smaller; mobile phones, remote controls, digital music players. My issue with small things is quite simple; I lose them! At present I have somehow misplaced the remote control for my sound-dock (for about the 7th time since I got it). However, it's been weeks and I think it's gone for good this time!! While I realise this was my own fault, my one gripe with BOSE is that you can't buy these remotes on their own. CASTROL HIGHMILES or MILEHIGH OIL! .
This brand of oil reviewed here is known as Castrol High Mileage motor oil, it is non synthetic oil, or more commonly known as a traditional mineral based oil. There are no synthetic additives added.
The viscosity of this oil is 15W-50 15 means the thickness of the oil in low temperatures, W means it complies with the requirements for winter conditions, and 50 means the thickness of the oil at high temperatures.
This newer synthetic type oil may be more suited for newer engines, but the old mineral oil is best in engines over say ten years old, or 100,000 miles, although different engine makers recommend different things nowadays. Synthetic oil has become really popular, and has been in production for many years now.

We needed a new docking station and immediately we thought 'Bose', knowing that this was, in our opinion the best quality.
Our Ipod was one of the cheaper ones but it makes no difference to the output of sound when in this docking station. It is Fantastic!
The acoustics are great, base amazing and as the station is a little heavier, it is safe to place anywhere even with a toddler knocking the table every five minutes!

The sound is amazing! it has an easy to use compact remote control, which fits perfectly in your pocket. So while you are out having a BBQ in the garden and want to turn the sound UP or Down, it is simple and easy to do.
You can also adjust the volume on the station with ease.
Even at a high level, the sound comes out perfect...not distorted at all ...
