Curtis James Jackson lll, more familliarly known as 50 Cent is one of the HOTTEST rappers around. He stormed the UK cahrts in March 2003 with the hit "In Da Club" which featured on his earlier released album "Get Rich or Die Tryin" along with other hot tracks such as "Wanksta" and the new release "If I can`t" For the few of you who haven't heard of 50 Cent, his flow is "A billow of smoke filtered through crushed glass, gleeful and menacing, with a keen sense of the absurd" says US Complex magazine, and to be honest they hit the nail on the head. Many people compare him to Eminem, but I'd say his style is uniquely different and he seems to rise above the rest. Now that I've introduced you to him, let me tell you a bit about the album. "Get Rich or Die Tryin" was released in February 2003, the album comprises of 17 tracks (18 if you include the introduction) and in my opinion none of them can be faulted, for each and every track 50 Cent uses a sense of uniqueness (if that's a word), no 2 tracks on the album are alike. The first track is the introduction, The first actual song is "Whatup Gangsta" this features his "homeboys" Young Buck and Lloyd Banks, the CD features other tracks such as "Patiently Waiting" featuring Eminem "If I Can't", smash hit "P.I.M.P" and "21 Questions" featuring Nate Dogg. As you can probably tell the album is not the easiest to go into detail about as you can never make it sound as good as it actually is, so why not go out there and buy it yourselfs as I definetly recommend it to any potential buyers. Also Look Out For 50 and His G-Unit Crew Rapping Away on "Beg For Mercy" (which I also recommend) Smellysian. XX

Nice review - you would get much higher ratings with more detailed information. Personally, I don't think much of 50 cent - I don't think rap should be catergorized as music but you know what they say..............to each his own. Nice review though.
