Gettin' Together - Art Pepper

...Whilst the last Oasis album had a some great songs on it, however as an album it is an absolute mess, with a few too many over indulgent guitar solos and require a lot of effort to listen to right the way through. On the other hand this album is pretty easy to listen to, and it is a lot shorter at under 50 minutes. Noel's influence is stamped all over this piece of work and he sings two of the best tracks, "Where did it all go wrong? " and "Sunday Morning Call ". Liam wrote "Liitle James" which has some of the worst lyrics ever. In general this album is better than Here and Now but worse than the first two, and Noel should start listening to something other Sgt. Pepper era Beatles.... Read review

...The last Beatles album to be recorded (although Let It Be was the last to be released), Abbey Road was a fitting swan song for the group, echoing some of the faux-conceptual forms of Sgt. Pepper, but featuring stronger compositions and more rock-oriented ensemble work. The group were still pushing forward in all facets of their art, whether devising some of the greatest harmonies to be heard on any rock record (especially on "Because"), constructing a medley of songs/vignettes that covered much of side two, adding subtle touches of Moog synthesizer, or crafting furious guitar-heavy rock ("The End," "I Want You (She's So Heavy)," "Come Together"). ...I recently found out that N.W.A are gettin back together for one last album. This album is set to be a reunion one and will feature dre, ice cube and the other guys not including the man 2 pac(R.I.P). I am definitely gonna go out and but this album after hearin the others and it'll probably dissapear off of the shelves quickly. I hope its not to pricey though like some of the old stuff coz im on a bit of a budget. I don't yet know when the release date is but i'll be out there when i find out.... Read review
