Advantages: Sparkles brightly.
Disadvantages: Fades often - but maybe that's irrelevant.

...When Everclear’s major label debut, Sparkle and Fade, was released in 1995, the music scene was much different, or at least that’s how I understand it. I was only five or six years old then. Popular taste was in the middle of a kind of transition. Grunge was effectively dead, soon to morph into the faceless brand of “post-grunge” which has proven to be so bothersome in recent times. In a few years, teen pop would take over; only to fake its own death a few years later and resurrect itself both in the form of confused pop stars with R&B singer complexes and in the endless masses of semi-talented teenagers on Radio Disney. Advantages: easy to listen to full album without skipping tracks
Disadvantages: It's only 45mins long, you have to put it on repeat a lot.

...round it. I'm sure it's a pun of the colloquial expressions "you are the bee's knee's" and "head over heels". I think she was inspired when she was in love the actor Ryan Reynold. I do like this song but for me it doesn't show her at her best. There is a beautiful sitar used in this track. "So-Called Chaos," the album's title track, is a bit of a beast. It starts off quite disconcerting with vocals that stop and start, but once the chorus kicks in it gets going with a bit more rocky. I think this is my least favourite track - it's a bit too trashy and grungey for my liking. The lyrics are clever though. It's about keeping up with society's standards and rules when you just want to break the rules and be free. "Not All Me" This was an instantly loveable one for me.
