What is it?
"The truth about diamonds" is a novel by celebrity Nicole Richie. This book tells a bit
of her life, but written from an interesting perspective. Nicole Richie writes as the best
friend of a girl named Chloe. Chloe goes through similar events to what Nicole Richie
has gone through in her real life - being adopted, taking drugs, becoming famous
and making vicious friends. Thus Nicole Richie avoids ridiculing herself, hurting the
friends she described in the novel and she also does very well at oberserving her own
behaviour in the past and projecting it into Chloe.

Gideon is a book I picked up whilst browsing around Asda a year or so ago, I picked up the paperback copy for the measly sum of £3.84.
The book is by an author I had never heard of before, but on reading the back of the book I thought 'what the hell I'll give it a go'.
The book starts with an unknown character having a nightmare, the same one he has had for most of his life (at this point what the nightmare is is not apparent).
This character then decides that he needs to talk to someone, he confides in his local priest, who after taking the confession he is now 'filled with terror'.
