Advantages: The Crue at their best Disadvantages: many songs are similar sounding
...this songyet you're going nowhere, this is the single most popular motley or even hair metal song ever, and something tells me its to do with the video for the song, but either way this song just makes ya wanna get up n dance even if you hate motleycrue. And plus what better to write a song about than girls eh?
now we have dancin on glass, another track that really makes ya wanna dance, but not on glass though, quite a crushing riff for a motleycrue song actually, which makes it all the better, and its also quite slow, so it has a kind of heavier edge. Nothing special but if you're a crue head like me, you'll love it, its very bluesy.
Right, bad boy boogie now, im not sure why but although this song sounds similar to dancing on glass, this song is probably one of my favourite tracks on the album. It really is a badass, bad boy song...

...The best of MotleyCrue. I was never a big fan of MotleyCrue but when I found this album lurking around the bargain bins I thought yeah why not. To my surprise it was actually very good! There are some great tracks on here which range across the first ten years of their career, starting with some tracks from earlier albums which are sort of punky, through a glam rock period in the ‘80s to their now harder although still poppy style. Particularly good tracks are:
Looks That Kill : Has an excellent piece of dirty guitar playing
Smokin’ In The Boys Room : The architypical teenage rebellion song, verses aren’t up to much but the chorus and guitar break is impressive
GirlsGirlsGirls : Probably heard this a million times in movies whenever a strip club is visited, passed or even thought about
Primal Scream - The new track...

Advantages: Don't do drugs, kids! Disadvantages: Still hard to take them seriously
...Hmm, MotleyCrue. I'd never thought much of their trashy hairspray metal. Somewhere along the line (no pun intended) they cleaned up their act, wrote actual songs, did killer live shows and for about two weeks in 1989 were the biggest band in the world. But old habits die hard...........
Recorded with Bob Rock in Vancouver, released late in 1989, sold something like 10 million copies worldwide? Read their fantastic autobiography for a good laugh, it's great, really is.
Before we review lets get one thing straight: Mick Mars is kidding himself that he is some guitar player. My 62 year old dad can outplay him any day. Bob Rock is such a fantastic producer that all he has to do is turn Mick's amp up, and it works! That's why these people get paid the big bucks.
Tnt : Terror N Tinseltown: 42 seconds of cars...
