This album has been my best friend for the past year almost! Andrew McMahon's voice can calm me down in a state of anger, or make me smile even more when I'm feeling chipper. An amazing follow-up to 'Everything In Transit', In my opinion 'The Glass Passenger' benefits from some amazingly upbeat songs, and also some more sombre, heartfelt songs about Andrew's past experiences. I think that 'The Resolution' and 'Crashing' are the best songs on the album, and will appeal to anyone who is a fan of the alternative rock/punk music, without the screamo sound!
What makes this band different is their heavy use of piano in their songs, making it very melodic.
Definitely worth listening to for the tunes and the meaningful, uplifting lyrics. I cant rave about this album enough.
