Thank God !! Review ofGo Let It Out - Oasisby

Advantages: New line in sounds Disadvantages: will never beat Definately Maybe
Thank god, Oasis are back with yet another masterpiece. "Go Let It Out" is a new side to Oasis, and yet a geart and welcome one. More complicated guitar and bass work work together with some pretty nifty lyrics to make a truely amazing song come to life. The band have been working with a producer awho has worked with U2, Fo Fighters and many other bands..........and it has payed off. There are more 'keyboardy' sound in here which make it interesting ...

Advantages: B-sides are as good - if not better - than the A-side Disadvantages: There aren't any
After a long wait after Oasis' previous single release with 'All Around The World' from their mixed blessed album 'Be Here Now', 'Go Let It Out' hit the shelves and sold like hot cakes (At least that was the situation where I lived anyway). 'Go Let It Out' is one of the decent tracks on their most recent album 'SOTSOG' but I think the b-sides that they've got on this CD - 'Lets All Make Believe' and '(As Long As They've Got) Cigarettes In Hell' - ...

Go Buy It Review ofGo Let It Out - Oasisby
emlynsimpson
Advantages: They are back Disadvantages: Repetative
‘Go Let It Out’ the long awaited and overdue single that finally hit the charts. In my opinion it was not the new sound that we were told to expect but a cracking oasis single that everyone could sing along to in their cars blurting out of their stereo on a sunny day. The song in itself does not seem appealing at first but it has a very repetitive but yet catchy chorus. The guitars at the end make it into a great live song too with the new additions ... ...only was the a-side a wonderful piece of work by the oasis boys but the two b-sides ‘Lets All Make Believe’ sung beautifully by Liam in a typically snarling fashion and the other softer song, (As long as they’ve got) cigarettes in hell sung by Noel. The song has a creative edge with noel puffing and coughing on a fag at the end of the song showing a symbolic view of Gallagher senior. ...

They're Back! Review ofGo Let It Out - Oasisby
Nirvanachick2000
Advantages: Great comeback single! Disadvantages:
...Oasis released this smash hit Go Let It Out! The song was like my Spring anthem! It's not as rocky as some of their previous songs but still a classic all the same! It's one of those songs that you can't help singing along to. This song is a must buy for any dedicated Oasis fan. If you haven't got it go out there any but it now! I love the guitar riffs near the end of the song. I think it's quite psychedelic to be honest. This shows the Beatles influence ...

Great B sides Review ofGo Let It Out - Oasisby
davysimpson
Advantages: Brilliant B sides Disadvantages: Only allowed 3 songs to get in charts
Go let it out is a great comback single for a group who have been hiding for some time. This song will definitely go in the records as a concert song along the lines of cigarettes and alcohol and roll with it and is guaranteed to get the crowd going. But as any Oasis fan would be buying the album what is the attraction of the single. Well if you are an Oasis fan I’m sure you have got most of the singles anyway but the B sides on this are fantastic ... ...hits album. Both Lets all make believe and as long as they’ve got cigarettes in hell are songs which may show the way oasis are heading as a more mellow group but these are both amazing with great lyrics backed up by superb guitar work. So this is definitely a well spent £4. ...

Advantages: has a few songs that might become classics in time to come Disadvantages: Not up to oasis' standards
...OK... this was expected. 'Definately Maybe' a timeless classic. 'WTSMG' another timeless classic. 'Be Here Now' a couple of weak links. 'The Masterplan' containing simply b-sides (but some good ones at that). Now 'SOTSOG' has an entirely new sound to it (along with a new 'logo'). Unfortuately, although the songs are more complex, they don't have the same ring to it as Oasis previously had. However, it's not entirely bad. Tracks like 'GoLetItOut', 'I Can See A Liar' and 'Gas Panic!' have still got some of that Oasis charm left in it. If you really want to hear songs from this album though, I won't stop you cos it's still a pretty good album....

Advantages: good music Disadvantages: not so much interaction
...eheheh :)
At 9:30 p.m. (what a punctuality!) the lights went down, everybody started to scream when started the first chords of "Fucking in the bushes". This is the intro, I saw, down on the grass, everybody jumping and shaking.
After this intro, started the concert, with Liam who sung "Hello!" as first song. He appeared in a great shape and his voice was shining. That's time of "The hindu times", "Hung in a bad place", songs from the latest album "Heathen Chemistry". There were a lot of U.K. flags that fluttered.
"Goletitout", and everybody started to sing (it was a song from a previous album and quite known here in Italy, also by not-Oasis-fans). Then "Columbia", sung only by dogged fans, who knew every song very well.
There's to say that Noel was also in a great shape, he played his guitar with an impressive grit. Liam...

Advantages: Great Album Disadvantages: Few weak songs
...Like the previous release of Be Here Now, if you excluded the Masterplan, Standing on the Shoulder of Giants had a huge weighting on its shoulders, excuse the pun. With the troubles of drugs and instant fame recalled the album is a stepping stone between the old and the new direction of Oasis. GoLetitOut provides a great starting point with a perfect rocky song. The three classics on the album have to be Who Feels Love, Where Did it All Go Wrong and Sunday Morning Call, which are all mellow songs put perfect. If you saw the Jool’s Holland set Where Did It All Go Wrong will surely be a favourite. There is obvious faults with this experiment of possibly letting Liam try his hand at song writing through Little James, the sound is nice but the lyrics are weak. Through Gas Panic Noel puts his past experiences of drugs behind him...
