All this time later and Salvatore is still writing novels with fighting high on the agenda and I find that I can still enjoy them, although not quite as much as I did in my younger years. Stay in Ancient Wells

Advantages: Amazing period features, friendly staff, great food, four-poster bed
Disadvantages: Could be expensive, not much parking, small beds

found that the day we wanted to go came at a discount! We ended up paying around £70 for two of us to stay in The Ancient Gatehouse Hotel which was on the doorstep of Cathedral Green! I have to say that the website wasn't all that easy to navigate as it seemed as though there was very little content and a massive page about hotel disclaimers and what they could charge you for if you broke things! But booking was pretty straightforward (its always in their interests to make that easy I guess) and we didn't even need out E-receipt when we turned up at the hotel as they had our booking and were happy to let us in. Parking Parking could have been an issue as the Ancient Gatehouse doesn't have any parking spaces of its own. The Hunt for Seven Ancient Pieces of Gold

Advantages: Rush of adrenalin an exciting read a book you cant put down
Disadvantages: Not having been made into a film

I have just returned from an adventure of a lifetime... Well not exactly an adventure but that's how it felt after reading the last page of a remarkable 535 paged book, titled Seven Ancient Wonders written by Matthew Reilly. I left this story feeling excited and very exhausted, because you get the feeling that you are part of the story, it grabs you by the collar and pulls you along with it like a rush of adrenalin. The Story. In ancient times there was a magnificent 9 foot high, Capstone that stood at the peak of the great pyramid at Giza, The Egyptians called it Benben. Shaped like a pyramid it featured the eye of Horus and also had mysterious carvings in an unknown language. The stone was made up of seven pieces of gold, with a thin bore-hole that ran down the centre, embedded in each hole was a crystal, when placed in sequence ...
