Advantages: A new style for old songs and a reunion Disadvantages: Should be the full length of the original concert
...After some 15 years, the original kings of rock and roll get together for a one-off concert. They are joined by the existing band members and at first sight, this does not seem to be a reunion at all. Peter and Ace come half way through and all hell erupts!
Going through classic songs in the 'Unplugged' style adds a new twist to very old songs such as Comin' Home and Goin' Blind - both of which suffered from bad production on the original album.
Rock and Roll All Nite they certainly did and it's great that we are all privvy to hear the result of the greatest rock comeback in the world!...

Advantages: Some good songs Disadvantages: Awful production
...After their debut album, Kiss returned to the studio to finish their repertoire of live songs. Although the majority of the songs were good, the production of the album lets them down in a really big way. It sounds like they recorded the whole thing in a toilet.
The best songs are easily those that Paul wrote, as Gene goes off on a tangent with 'Goin' Blind'. 'Comin' Home'and 'Hotter Than Hell' are the best tracks, but 'Let Me Go Rock 'n' Roll' is a light hearted classic song that deserves a mention. 'Parasite' is proabably the heaviest they achieve on the album.
Kiss certainly improved with age, as this album does not really fill anyone with awe and can only be considered as a collection-completer, if you want to hear the studion versions of the tracks from Alive!, which has a much improved sound quality....

...I'd be the first to admit that I bought this album of the back of That Don't Impress Me Much. And despite Shania's opinion I was impressed VERY impressed.
Every song on this album has a meaning some are a comical dig at men others are serious but each one speaks to you.
From the soft flowing ballards like you're Still The One and You've gat away with me to the up tempo MAn! I Feel Like A Women and Don't be stupid. Which are interlinked with Songs like Honey I'm Home and Come On Over.
Once you've heard this album you can not stop playing it! It's a feel good great sing along album.
My favourite lyric is from track 2 When which goes like "I wanna up smilling full of the joys of spring and Hear on CNN that Elvis lives again and that Johns back with the Beatles and their goin' out on tour be the first in line for tickets gotta' see...
