This has to be probably the best Manic Street Preacher albums ever to hit the market, but why didn't it acheive the success of other Manic Street Preacher albums?
I am not alone in thinking that this has to be the greatest album released by the manics showing the awesome song writing of James Dean Bradfield combined with the thought provoking lyrics of Richie James.
Songs like "Yourself" and "Despair to Where" should never be forgotten and once you have heard them they never will.
"La Tristesse Durera" is a song that once heard you will instantly recognise it. I am not sure why this is, as far as i know i had never heard it before but there is something about it that seems familiar.
As with a lot of MSP songs, the raw lyrics of Richie James bringing up the issues of suffering contrast superbly with the not so morbid tunes.
