...A Flamenco tour de force. To Flamenco-lovers, Carlos Montoya is a legend. He educated the rest of the world about various Flamenco styles, leaving his native Spain in the 1930's. Settling in the U.S.A, he would then shape a very specific style with the influence of Jazz. I think that most of the Jazz influence can be distinguished through Carlos Montoya's playfulness. He enjoys discharging lightning-fast tempo in various parts of his pieces and has the ability to then pick up where he left off with ecstatic simplicity. This album was released in 2004 under Pazzazz Records. Originally, the tracks were recorded in 1979 (all of them). 13 of the 15 tracks are by Carlos himself. ...IThis product was £12.99 its a two CD-set, includes all of the Stones tracks that were part of the original Rolled Gold vinyl LP plus an additional 12 tracks that were not included in the 1975 retrospective release. With a total of 40 tracks, including all of the biggest hits of the first ten epochal years of the Stones' recording career, Rolled Gold+ is an essential collection that explains just how the group earned the right to be called "The World's Greatest Rock 'n' Roll Band." At last rolled gold is released in cd fomat, it has been a long time coming, however, well worth the wait. there is a plethora of rolling stones best and greatest hits covering different periods of their long career. this cd is a peice of history, it does not get much better than this, buy it, recommended ! Advantages: A good mix of the Carpenters classic hits at a great price.
Disadvantages: Some of the hits can be a little 'samey', no lyrics included to sing-along to.

...The Carpenters Gold (1x) CD is a collection of Greatest Hits by the Brother and Sister who's music I think encompasses originality and incredible talent. For those who have heard of the Carpenters tunes or do not no anything about them, If you are into your love songs, meaningful lyrical content and catchy sounds then this may be worth a listen. This is a great CD with all the hits on that you love or may have heard before. This music falls in the category of Folk/Pop. Sometimes there are just those albums you just have to have in your collection-this is one of them, alongside The Beatles, Elvis and Stevie Wonder. I like my Pop music and my RnB, quite a mixture really and I'm open to lost of other music, I just find that sometimes going back and looking at older bands and different music gives you something that just doesn't happen...
