At last rolled gold is released in cd fomat, it has been a long time coming, however, well worth the wait. there is a plethora of rolling stones best and greatest hits covering different periods of their long career. this cd is a peice of history, it does not get much better than this, buy it, recommended ! ...all, well most of us, have heard of this group, with such hits as Gold, Through The Barricades, and True but to name a few, this group has made headlines all around the world. if you add up how many weeks there singles spent in the charts, you would be coming close to 8 years, that is how much they were, and still are respected, even though, alas, they are not together :(. I think we probably all remember the Hit song Gold, I mean it is the one that was played the most i think, and also the one that was so catchy. I mean, the lyrics was so good, we all remember them, basically telling us we are what we are wanting to be, and nothing anyone else does will make us lower or different. This song was so good, and still is. you still hear it in all the 80's disocs, and sometimes the latest night clubs in remixed edition, because people... Read review

Advantages: Availability of USB stick - just reinforces that the Stones are still a NOW band!
Disadvantages: Okay, maybe we don't exactly NEED another compilation but hey, ENJOY IT!

...There's one thing this is not - Fool's Gold! How can anyone doubt the sanity of another 'best of' stone's album? Yeah, there's a whole other bunch of them out there, yeah, some of them are classics in their own right. But listen - that's what this one is! From the melodic to the thrashing, old to new hot to cold, this collection is truly sublime. Sometimes it'll leave your heart racing, sometimes it'll leave tears in your eyes and sometimes it'll send you into that whole other world of Stones Gold where I just know you'll never want to come back from. They're getting old, they've already GOTTEN wrinkly, but how anyone can even THINK that it's time to bury the stones into the dank depths of music history is beyond consideration.
