With a huge string of hits under their belts they have now released Gold, their greatest hits album.
Steps have gone from strength to strength both musically and style wise, proved to everyone that they can keep up with any new comers and still produce number one hits.
Gold boasts 20 tracks, 3 of which are new, so here is a rundown of what you will get on Gold:

An excellent remix of the old Bee Gee’s track, this modern version was huge and gave Steps their truly deserved first number 1, complete with wacky dance called the shampoo, it was a must for every Christmas party that year and remained popular long after.

Advantages: Beck is a twisted genius Disadvantages: It does start to fry your mind if you listen too closely
...Beck Hansen may well come to regret the day he wrote the "I'm a loser baby, so why don't you kill me" line. He has the standard card-carrying hippy background: son of a bluegrass player; lived with preacher grandfather in Kansas; hitched around Europe and lived with his sculptor uncle before embarking upon music in New York — all, allegedly, before he was 16.
That bit of history said, what Beck's past doesn't suggest is Mellow Gold. Loser, probably the first Top 20 single to feature the line "Dog food skulls with the beefcake pantyhose", is a fair starting point. Beck samples all possible musical themes — folk, rap, unidentifiable plinky, farty sounds — and coats them with an ear-friendly pop gloss without quite losing the feeling that there's things here which haven't been heard before.

With a total of 40 tracks, including all of the biggest hits of the first ten epochal years of the Stones' recording career, Rolled Gold+ is an essential collection that explains just how the group earned the right to be called "The World's Greatest Rock 'n' Roll Band."
At last rolled gold is released in cd fomat, it has been a long time coming, however, well worth the wait. there is a plethora of rolling stones best and greatest hits covering different periods of their long career. this cd is a peice of history, it does not get much better than this, buy it, recommended ! It truely does remind me just how good...
