THE ALBUM ---------- This collection contains a massive 19 songs but a not so massive running time of 56 minutes, so most songs are about three minutes each, which is about right in my book. well seeing as there are 19 songs im not going to review all of them, else you would all die of boredom and id get arrested for multiple murders, which isn't something I really fancy, so Ill just pick a small selection and bore you with them instead! ---CONFETTI--- This song is the perfect opener... Advantages: Can suit mood if tired/miserable
Disadvantages: Can begin to sound the same after a while

...This CD, comprising of 20 tracks, can make good background music or is pleasant to listen to for short lengths of time e.g. 10 minutes, especially if tired or miserable (as it can match your mood and isn't too loud or brash). Some of the more notable tracks include Zombie, Ridiculous Thoughts and Promises as well as the best non-single song Daffodil Lament (a bonus track), as voted by fans of the cranberries. The other tracks of this CD are: Dreams, Linger, Ode To My Family, I Can't Be With You, Salvation, Free To Decide, When You're Gone, Hollywood, Animal Instinct, Just My Imagination,You And Me, Analyse, Time Is Ticking, This Is The Day, New New York (previously unreleased) and Stars (also previously unreleased). Advantages: Better Than Solid Fare From Underrated U.S. Band.
Disadvantages: Nothing On View Is Awe Inspiring.

...For a band that seem to press all the right buttons it's a little surprising that the Lemonheads haven't achieved more success. Here is a band with a singer who is easy on the eye, possess cheery tunes aplenty and purport to moral values that don't require a parental warning. 'It's A Shame About Ray' was their first album to tweak any interest outside of their native America and offers a glowing account of their potential. Evan Dando is the Gram Parsons adoring singer who writes all the music. His countrified drawl rarely changes pitch throughout the album, which is a bit of a pity because his lungs could probably offer a more wholesome workout.
