Advantages: all the riddims are good and generally this showcases capletons unique style well
Disadvantages: for some reason there are 4 or 5 anthony b tracks at the end which are weak

...this is a collection of some the very prolific capletons singles. All of the capleton tracks are good benefitting from some top notch riddims, the hightlights being ready fe burn and the niabingi drums of things are happening. However the main problems of this collection are that being previously released singles if you are a fan you will have hear most of it before. It does not really have the feeling of being a complete album in the way still blazing or more fire does, to top it off the final few tracks on the album are by roots artist anthony b and while these are not bad songs they pale in comparision to the cap[leton tunes. Advantages: Smokie at their best
Disadvantages: Absolutely none

...and much reflection Smokie recruited singer Mike Craft and Smokie were back on the road.Craft,without doubt the one with the best vocal ability of of the 3 lead vocalists was an instant hit with the fans ,his ability to make any song his own brought Smokie back to the top of the charts and returned Smokie to the peak of popularity in Europe and Scandinavia They have never stopped touring since. After 30 years they decided to cover songs that a lot of people mistakingly thought were done by them originally.It was bound to be an interesting project to work on and the finished product did not leave me dissappionted. My first thought on this album was the fact that their greatest hits had been re-recorded and re-mixed and came with this presentation but the covers disc was very interesting indeed. Advantages: Oh, practically everything

...’s disolussion in 1995. Their music is well-known for Knopfler’s unique style of guitar playing, which is achieved by “picking” at the strings. You can hear his terrific guitar work in most of the songs on this CD. That, combined with his unique vocal style, is what makes the band’s sound so distinctive. “The very best of” contains some of Dire Straits’ most well-known songs, although, in my opinion, there are a few songs that should have made the cut. I guess you can’t have everything though, and this CD gives a great overview of their sound. There are sixteen tracks on the CD. Three are live, and the others are studio versions.
