Advantages: Superb track selection and an informative bonus DVD Disadvantages: Typically unimaginative packaging - but it's the music that counts, right?
..." which serve to keep the listener interested enough without neccessarily sending them into hyperspace.
That privilege is saved for the final track on the disc. Scott Brown's "Rock Me Softly" is hardcore at it's best. A tune of frightening pace yet sublime enough to have angelic vocals that'll have you reaching for the lasers forever!
In terms of hardcore compilations, this is probably the best single disc of stuff you're going to get now, before or ever. Hardcore has and will continue to evolve, but if there is ever going to be a goldenage you might just find it on this shiny piece of plastic. Outstanding.

...This is the album that introduced me to Marilyn Manson and i can still remember the feeling that it gave me when i first listened to it. I had heard nothing like it before, the driving force of the music and lyrics combined entranced me for an hour. The GoldenAge of Grotesque takes it's place next in the tracklisting next with it's incredibly odd music style which includes a burning piano being played by manson himself. The controversial (s...
