Advantages: Some great music on the tracks Disadvantages: but some not so good ones - and quite expensive
...This CD contains the music that was recorded at the Edinburgh Military Tattoo in 2000 - the GoldenJubilee Year. The music is recorded live from the Esplanade of Edinburgh Castle and the audience 'participation' is heard i.e. rounds of applause at the end of each item.
There is great variety in the types of music included on the CD - from traditional Scottish to South African Zulu music, from Military Bands to Steel Orchestras. This variety in music helps create one very good CD to listen to. There are a few disadvantages to this CD though - some of the tracks arent as good and arent really as worth listening to, they just dont get the same feeling without seeing what is going on at the same time, especially with the South African Infantry Zulu Dance Team and another track. Other disadvantages are that the CD is qutie expensive...

Advantages: Full of majestic English themes. A tragi-comedy that was nearly Grand Opera Disadvantages: None
...were performing Grand Opera at Drury Lane.
“Yeomen of the Guard” opened at the Savoy Theatre, London on October 3rd 1888 and ran continually for 423 performances until December 1889.

Advantages: Hard hitting, fast, fun, and loud music. Disadvantages: 50 Foot Wave is not music that everyone will dig.
...and fun. Their first full length album is Golden Ocean.
The Album
The crew headed to LA to record Golden Ocean under the production of Ethan Allen (no, not that one, this one, Fun Fact #3). The album itself was recorded in the summer of 2004 and released earlier this year. All the members of the band share equal credit on songwriting, unusual but honorable in today's music industry.
I will tell you straight up that to really get into this album you must like raw, punky music with lots of energy. Golden Ocean is pure energy. 50 Foot Wave as a sound will not suit everyone's taste. The first run through the album you might find something that catches your ear and next thing you know you are listening to it over and over. Golden Ocean is infectious as athlete's foot in the YMCA shower. The energy and vibe put off by 50 Foot Wave...
