I hadn't heard this album in a while. It was one of my favourite albums growing up.

Is it as good as I remember?

Hell yeah! This album is Goldfinger in their prime. Lately they have become a bit pop punk , this album embraces so many different genres of music but is still predominantely punk and ska.

The band is:
John Feldmann (Vocals , Guitars)
Charlie Paulson (Guitar)
Simon Williams (Bass)
Darrin Pfeiffer (Drums)

The songs are all pretty short , typical of it's punk roots , but they all crackers! The opening track "Superman" sets the mood for the rest of the album , upbeat , light hearted and most of all , good!

The next track is called "My Head" and it's a really awesome song , it has some amazing guitar work and is the best produced song on the album.

"If only" is the next song , it's a chilled out track with pretty cool lyrics , he's wondering if he was a bit better would the girl want him. "if only I was eighteen , had the courage of the A-team maybe then you'd be with me"

Thats Shakespeare quality stuff!

Most of the songs on the ablum are about broken hearts , girls , break up's etc...
Maybe thats why I liked the album so much when I was growing up?

The albums flows from track to track with a few wierd songs to jolt your attention. One of the tracks "SMP" is a really short hardcore kind of artsy piece. Wierd but cool.

Every song on the album could be your favourite , they all really good. The lyrics are light hearted and clever , they make you want to fall in love! Musically this album is a punk rock masterpiece , the riffs and breaks are amazing. There's a lot of trumpet on the album which gives it a really ska kinda happy feel!

All the songs are really well produced , by Jay Rifkin and John Feldmann (the singer of the band). Nowdays John does a lot of production work , producing for many bands , most noticably "the Used". The production is simply outstanding. One of the most well produced albums in punk history!

After listening to the album again , I like it more now then I did ten years ago! It is one of those classic albums that I will still listen to when I'm a grandfather , and my grand kids are gonna think it's awesome rock n' roll , like how I see the Beatles now!

Whether you like this type of music or not , go get this album.
