Good Arrows - Tunng

Advantages: Great Folk album, Electronic and acoustic collaboration
Disadvantages: none unless you don't like folk

...First of all, let me just say that tunng are a fantastic band who really deserve great success, they take beautiful folk music and give it an electronic twist with the use of laptops and other experimental electronic devices! Fantastic production provided by the multi talented lead singer, provides them with the finished article that they want, which is a bonus for all concerned. This album is truly a step in the right musical direction, a natural progression of folk music in my opinion: bringing folk into the new age, and its about time! this album contains one of my favourite songs of all time 'beautiful and light' other standout tracks 'mother's daughter' and 'tale from the black' make this an album which is full of quality a perfect album to chill out to! ...A while ago my younger sister had a book clearout, knowing my love of reading she ?donated? them to my ongoing book club that I run through my workplace, hence the review. The book I will now review is - ?Poison Arrows by Morag Prunty? This is a shock book to me. I only picked this book up to read as it was on the top of the pile and my daughter was asleep and I didn?t want to disturb her?.. Not really a reason is it! Advantages: You may gain insight into a turbulent time in English History - the War of the Roses (white and red)
Disadvantages: It is not always easy to unravel who is on which side at which time; sentences can be long and complicated.
