...You may well be asking yourself what a girl of 21 who should be out listen to ear aching music is doing with a CD of Russell Watson. Well i do go out and listen to ear aching music but as i am music student i have to listen to all kinds of music and do reports on them, that is where i came across Russell Watson for the first time. Just like Russell Watson i was too born in Salford of Greater Manchester and i thought it would have being really good to do a report on his music. So off i went to the library and got the CD Encore out and i was hooked. My mum then bought it for me for my christmas. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Back-ground information~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As i said before Russell was born in Salford in Greater Manchester and was born on th 24 november 1974. Advantages: A unique, fresh voice. Handsome guy. Will be around for a long time.
Disadvantages: His first effort is not bad and subsequent CD's get better.

...Dorma, Nella Fantasia, and Amor ti Vieta. His voice, phrasing, and control are all superb. The orchestrations are good and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra does a fine job. The Voice is a good place to start if you are thinking about adding Russell Watson's music to your collection.... Read review

...Russell Watson has made a great CD here. I am not a classical music fan and only bought this CD for one song that was on it. I must say that I have been very plesantly suprised by the content. The CD contains 16 tracks which are:- 1 Va, pensiero 2 Volare 3 The Prayer - with Lulu 4 O sole mio 5 Ave Maria 6 Mattinata 7 Pelagia's Song - Captain Corelli's Mandolin 8 ou are so beautiful 9 Somewhere 10 Che gelida manina 11 E lucevan le stelle 12 Magic of Love - with Lionel Ritchie 13 Catch the Tears 14 Lost in the snow 15 Celeste Aide 16 Where my heart will take me - Theme from Enterprise Track 16, Where my heart will take me is the real reason for buying this as me and my husband both liked the song after watching the series Enterprise and then we say Russell perform this at the opening ceremony for the Manchester...
