As far as voices go, Rihanna has a unique one and it helps provide a fresh, exciting vibe to her songs and albums. This goes exceptionally well with this album, her latest, which has multiple fast paced songs that are catchy and interesting to listen too, while providing great dance tracks. The most notablly catchy song is Umbrella, however there are others such as Push Up On Me and Please Don't Stop The Music, Shut up & Drive plus more.
There are of course ballad songs, slower paced beats and it's a hit and miss from Rihanna on this one. Although her voice is uniqeue, it isn't suited to these types of songs and although the songs themselves on the albm are good, I personally believe that Rihanna doesn't do them justice.
On the whole though, Rihanna does pull most songs of well and this is a great album to listen too wherever you are.
