Move over Beyonce - Rihanna has arrived.

I must confess, I've always been a fan of Rihanna. But let me assure you that this doesn't bias my opinion on this album much, this review will be based purely on the actual album itself, not just the artist.

Good Girl Gone Bad features loads of upbeat numbers to get you dancing as well as Rihanna's usual mix of soul, dancehall and pop. Lets have a review on each of the songs, shall we? :)

1. UMBRELLA

We have ALL heard Umbrella, some love it, some hate it. Regardless of the nasally notes, this song is amazingly catchy, & in my opinion, quite good. Mary J. Blige actually turned down this song...bet she's kicking herself for that lol. Anyway, the songs been #1 in the UK charts for 9 weeks now, I think that speaks for itself, not to mention people walk down the road singing "ella ella eh eh eh eh eh eh" which sounds weird unless you can do a Bajan accent, but you just can't help singing it anyway.

2. DON'T STOP THE MUSIC.

This is one of my favourite songs, very dancey & upbeat. It mixes 80s music with a today's electronic sound -- it's very "Michael Jackson meets Madonna" Rihanna's vocals are nearly perfect with this song.

3. BREAKIN DISHES

My fave song on the album! It has alot of attitude and Rihanna blends rock with a more hip hop sound. The lyrics are very good in my mind, also!

4. SHUT UP & DRIVE

Very rocky & edgy. Not the best song on the album...but not the worst. At first I wasn't keen on it, but after listening to it on repeat afew times it's grown on me.

5. HATE THAT I LOVE YOU

I thought this was so cheesey lol. Ne-yo is featured on this track with the beautiful Rihanna, their vocals do go well together. But it's so unoriginal...I feel as though I've heard it somewhere else cuz it sounds just like most other songs on the market these days!!

6. SELL ME CANDY

I. LOVE. THIS. SONG!!! From my understanding Timberland did this song, so I think that's proof it's very good haha. It sounds reggae like, which is good.

7. LEMME GET THAT

Rihanna's vocals are MADE for songs like this. It's another reggae song and the lyrics are quite...weird. But I do like this song, her accent is fantastic on this!

8. REHAB

Definately will be a chart topper, this is without a doubt the best track on the album, written by Justin Timberlake. Nice ballad which really shows off her voice, she sounds like she's improved her vocals over the years.

9. GOOD GIRL GONE BAD

I really like this song, it's slow, but not TOO slow if you get my jift.

I won't go on about her other songs, as I didn't think too much of them & can't be bothered to write anymore in all honesty lol =/

Combining hip hop, electro-pop, reggae, rock and R&B, Rihanna may just be the hottest export from Barbados in recent times. I highly recommended this album, it's her best yet!
