Rihanna- Good Girl Gone Bad

Review: This album is very good. It is full of good beat tracks. However this album has some good and bad songs. The goodness of the good songs, outweigh the bad.
Umbrella is the best song of 2007, proven by its 10-week number 1 status! Jay Z has a great start in it and Rihanna does the rest so well. The different approach to this track is so good. I mean who thought of the repetition of the sound ‘eh’ in the chorus, it’s great. I’m still singing it 3 months after I heard it. But don’t be fooled, just because this is a great song and probably the best this year, the whole album unfortunately isn’t as good.
Push Up On Me is also a very good song. In fact the first three songs are very good. This song has very good sound and though Rihanna’s voice gets annoying after a while, this song will keep you enthused.
Don’t Stop The Music is my equal favourite with Umbrella. It really is a clubby cong and is fab. The lyrics are good and the repetition is good. The beat is also very good and it sure is to be released later (hopefully)!
Breakin’ Dishes is where it starts to go down and get pointless. Not only is it boring, but also Rihanna’s voice finally does affect the song negatively.
Shut Up and Drive has a great tune, but the actual song is shockingly bad.
Hate That I Love You is a fantastic cong. NeYo is great in it and this song shows that Rihanna really can sing from the bottom of her heart.
Say It is also a good song, but it does get a bit bugging after a bit because it all sounds so the same.
The rest of the songs are very bad except for Question Existing which actually has a good tune and lyrics.
As I said earlier, the songs, which I have left, comments on make the album up and are very good. Unfortunately the not so good songs spoil this album.
Overall: a fab effort and Umbrella will really stay in my mind for a long while to come!
