Advantages: Really energetic, fun and interesting. Disadvantages: None at all.
...break into what could be a metal song again, nu metal, but for me that is about it, it does not do too much different, good but not great, 7/10.
7. Living in Chaos
Great guitar riff opening, and brilliant drum accompaniment, musically this is a great track, it changes pace, it has different arrangemnents in the same track. I have to say I could imagine Linkin Park doing this, but I do think that this lot are more accomplished. 9/10.
8. Special Delivery
Nice drum and bass intro (no not dance music drum and bass), then a quite interesting vocal that is a good half an ocatve higher than usual. Then comes the rock chorus, then slows again. Great stuff again. 9/10.
9. One Fine Day
The start sounds so like Green day it is weird, luckiliy it gathers pace and we get a really frenetic piece of fun punk like Chumbawumba on speed dial, lol...

Advantages: Good songs Disadvantages: Weird inlay card
...A friend of mine has lent me Hitler Bad, Vandals good and I was surprised to find just how good this album was and I never knew it existed. The Vandals are in the same class of music as Pennywise, CIV and the more popular Blink 182. Some of the songs on this album are very strange to say the least. the best song called I've Got An Ape Drape is all about hair cuts. It does sound abit lame but it is a boody good track. there is also a song about being dumped by your girlfriend and a truck running her over and chopping off her head. The inlay card is a bit strange the songs are not in the same order as they are billed and almost every song the lyrics in some place are not the same as the inlay card which does make following the tracks a little confusing. Looking at the cartoons on the inlay card it is not hard to see where...

....
Questionable contributions from Avenged Sevenfold's M Shadows and Synyster Gates plague the otherwise excellent 'The River', a tune about decadent down-town Los Angeles, whilst 'Keep Your Hands Off My Girls's' foray into decidedly white-boy rap remains naggingly intrusive, borrowing a few "Aha, ahha's" from Bon Jovi and name-dropping the likes of Louis Vuitton, ASG, and YSL in the process.
Elsewhere Revival straddles the line between gargantuan pop-rock ('Break Apart Her Heart', 'Broken Hearts Parade'), dance-funk rebellion ('Victims Of Love') and crooning balladry ('Something Else', 'March On') to decently cohesive prominence.
Where Good Morning Revival takes Joel, Benji and Co is anyone's guess. Whilst lacking the heartfelt emotion of the likes of 'Emotionless' (no pun intended) and the unadulterated fists-in-the-air fun of 'The Young...
