Going to School - another term starts!

Advantages: A lovely book offering an insight into a child's first day at school.
Disadvantages: None

This is an Usborne First Experiences Book by Anne Civardi and Stephen Cartwright. ISBN 0-7460-1270-5 RRP - £3.95 My granddaughter started nursery school in September and when I saw this book in the library during the summer holidays I thought it would be a good way of introducing her to situations that she hadn't met before. The story starts by introducing the Peaches family - mum, dad and the twins Percy and Polly along with their pets Sidney the gerbil, Dusty the cat and Ping and Pong the two kittens. The Peaches' live in a flat above the Marsh family who have a daughter called Milly. The story goes through the routines of getting up, having breakfast and getting ready for school. Go On, Be Good To Yourself!

Sainsbury's Be Good to Yourself Mushroom and Bacon Tagliatelle is just one of hundred's of products in the Sainsbury's Be Good to Yourself range. As the name suggests these products are supposed to be healthier and better for you than the equivalent product from their standard range. This healthier option does generally come at a slightly inflated price but to help the consumer decide if this extra cost is worth paying each of the products in the Be Good to Yourself range are clearly labelled with a Wheel of Health. The Wheel of Health is prominently displayed on the front of the packaging and this is colour coded in line with the recommendations made by the Food Standards Agency.
