Advantages: excellent writing, acting, direction...
Disadvantages: none.

The Station Agent is an extraordinary film for a number of reasons. The first is that it is stunningly simple in story and script and yet intriguingly complex in theme and emotional resonance. The second is that it has a strong social conscience without a hint of condescension. The third is that it is funny, touching, sweet, lyrical and beautifully paced, which is sadly not something we see every day. This tiny crystalline gem of a movie took the critics by storm and as far as I can see, they were entirely within reason to praise it to the skies. Uncle Ben's A Real Good Friend!

Advantages: Very Quick And Easy To Make, Quite Healthy And Nutritous.
Disadvantages: Handle With Care As It Gets Red Hot When Cooked.

During the week when I've had a long day at work cooking a proper meal is often the last thing on my mind and so I have found myself opting for ready made meals and quick fix snacks. I know that it's not ideal but the range of products out there for lazy people like me has definitely improved over the last few years. One such product that I do find myself using on quite a regular basis is Uncle Ben's Express Rice and this is the subject of my review today. The Packaging It comes in a bright orange coloured pouch with a picture of a bowl full of rice on the front so it is fairly easy to spot on the shelf. The reverse of the package has information relating to the cooking instructions and there is also a recipe suggestion. The package I buy contains 250g which is more than sufficient for two people.
