For those who know YannTiersen's work on other films such as GoodbyeLenin, but who are unfamiliar with Amelie: you won't be disappointed, the quality and creativity of Tiersen's pieces are as exquisite as ever.
I would really recommend this CD to anyone who would take pleasure in discovering a really unique collection of songs written by a largely unknown artist this side of the Channel, or anyone who likes their music to allow them an escape from the stresses of the life to a simpler, ephemeral world.
