The first album I ever bought on vinyl. double album. great art work on the cover. It wanted you to 'go inside' and discover more. Some fantastic lyrics, soul searching, and very 70's in its concept. I bought the CD about 5 years ago, and it was as good as I remember it all those years ago. The words are still poigniant, and meaningful. (I'm a little older now and understand the content a LOT better!) Elton John is still one of the best legends of our time. I am so sad he never had more no 1 hits in his career - but there is time yet! A must have for any serious music buffs - old and new! Why would you want to records it from Vinyl to CD yourself? The quality keeps the originality.
