Gott Get Out - Alec Empire

Advantages: Music with real revoultionary rage
Disadvantages: Over reliance on noise and poor production

...Strange with the release of 60 second Wipeout, ATR released their most uncommerical release to date, but at the same time receiving a high amount of press coverage. Then again nothing is straightforward in the world of Alec Empire and cohorts. Burn, Berlin, Burn and The Future of War were both excellent albums combining the power of hardcore punk and the tearaway breakbeats of the darkest drum and bass. ATR had developed a unique sound, uncompromising but at the same time accessible. With 60 second Wipeout ATR have moved on again, the sound of the earlier albums is still there especially on tracks like Revolution action and Too Dead for me. However most of the album finds ATR journeying into the world of noise terrorism, with explosions of white noise drowning out most of the other sounds on the majority of tracks. Listening... Advantages: REALLY NOISY!!!!!, actually, noisier than that.
Disadvantages: Do you like the sound of 1000 dentist's drills?

...Think for a moment, if you will, about Atari Teenage Riot. They’re considered one of the noisiest bands around. Leader Alec Empire’s solo work makes them sound like B*Witched. This is ‘Miss Black America.’ It’s released on Digital Hardcore Limited, so it’s highly unlikely you’ll be able to find it. But would you want to anyway? It’s a blast of extreme noise terror. Frankly, it sounds like someone boring through your skull with a rusty drill bit. It doesn’t last long, if it did, people would probably die from listening to it. ...Dum Dums are: Josh Doyle - Vocals & Guitar Stuart "Baxter" Wilkinson - Drums & Vocals Steve Clarke - Bass & Vocals The name was made up my Josh Doyle, its comes from the 1950s lolly pops sold in the states - Dum Dums and also from the fact that they were all called "Dum Dums" by their teachers at school. The band was formed in April 1997 and played their first gig in November 1997.Unlike so many bands they write all their own songs including Can't get you out of my head. This song is the best of the album "It goes without saying" although Army of Two and You knock me off my feet are pretty awesome too. You'll like this song if you are a Blink 182 fan or have ever not been able to get a special someone out of your head.
