I'm struggling with the burden of writing reviews and reciprocating the gestures of those who have taken time to rate and comment on them. I promise I will take the time to rectify this in the future, and I would be gratified to receive any feedback.

Grace was simply a beautiful album. Jeff Buckley was an immensely talented singer, and his loss to the world was a loss to all of us. You have only to listen once through the album to appreciate his sheer brilliance, though it takes many more to truly understand.
From the reflective and introspective vocals on what is probably his most famous track, 'Hallelujah', to the unorthodox vocal mastery on 'Mojo Pin', and the euphoria-inducing 'Lilac Wine', this is a demonstration of Buckley's incredible versatility and the heady emotion of his singing and songwriting.
I could go on for hours eulogising over every track on this album, but suffice it to say that this is an absolutely indispensable record in anyone's collection. I struggle to think of another piece of work which has touched me more than this, and a shiver runs down my spine every time I hear the haunting refrains of Buckley's voice. A true classic of our time.

Advantages: Extreme beauty, grace, charm. Lovingly crafted music, with a well-deserved cult following of those with enlightened souls. Disadvantages: A moment or two when he tries to be a bit of a rock god, and doesn't come off too well.
