Advantages: Grace, buckley, sensational voice and lyrics, an extra song Disadvantages: Not as good as the anniversary edition, little new appeal
...of a broken man from a broken relationship, as he tries to forget it all (every guy who's been in love knows this feeling far to well). Buckley as always performs to a very high standard vocall with the music adding more to the idea of a man walking down the street with tears in eyes. A song that for whatever reason was pulled from the original "Grace" CD has a place in a great CD, and was the major selling point. The song it's self has a 10/10 for me (despite my belief that had Jeff wanted the song to be released it would have been)...
However when reviewing this album we must note a few things, yes it's "Grace" with "Forget her" added, but, more to the point, it's another £10 or so for 1 song if you have the original. Mary Guilbert (Jeff's mum) has received a lot of criticism due to this, which was released only months after the far better...

Advantages: Jeff Buckley's amazing voice, and talent Disadvantages: Very few
...Jeff Buckley was a wonderful song writer and musician, with possibly the best voice that has existed in the world of music! An extremely skilled man, especially with the ability at singing in both falsetto and his normal singing range, in order to give himself a huge range of notes that he is able to use in his music! I've never heard a man with such a beautiful voice.
Jeff Buckley's only full studio album made before his death, "Grace", includes songs that Buckley has covered, but also his own songs. The album demonstrates both his amazing song writing ability, and also the skill he had in order to make a song his own, and to put his own stamp on that song!
Buckley covers 3 song on the album to make them sound completely different, and I feel that he does this extremely successfully. Both Buckley's songs, and the ones that he has...

Advantages: Brilliant album, great lyrics, musically superb Disadvantages: Too few songs?!
...Three Days Grace are an emo-metal band. This, is their debut album.
The album contains:
Burn
Just Like You
I Hate Everything About You
Home
Scared
Let You Down
Now Or Never
Born Like This
Drown
Wake Up
Take Me Under
Overrated
Stand out tracks, for me, are 'Just Like You', 'Home' and 'Drown'. These tracks are all very well put-together, the lyrics are amazing, and I can relate to them. I can't say that I dislike any of the tracks, there really aren't any weak links on this albums. No filler!
Three Days Grace share many similarities with the Canadian band, Rush. Their heart-felt, angsty lyrics seem to resonate throughout the album, and the vocal talents of Adam Gontier are amazing. Not a bum note on the album :)
Melodically, think a mixture of loud drums, heavy bass and superb guitar riffs. The melodies tend...
