MC Lars is a post punk laptop rapper. His music is very much not like anything else out there at the moment. His sharp witty lyrics are synchronised over hip hop and electro style beats.

The Album features 14 unique tracks, varying from short jingles such as 'If i had a time Machine' to much longer story style songs like 'Internet Relationships' to more commercial songs such as '21 Concepts' a vague mock of 50 cents 21 questions song.

With the album generally being an import from the US don't be expecting it to be in the bargain basement, but i managed to buy it off eBay for £6, so it is certainly not going to break the bank.

The Graduate is his first full length album mixing together rap, punk and metal influences to create a wide variety of tracks. Songs such as 'Rapgirl', 'Download This Song' and 'Signing Emo' mock the current record industry in a classy and tasteful way, creating not only good music but pointing out a few home truths.

'The Roomate from Hell' features MC Chris and the two of them together create an amazing song. MC Lars in not generic by any standard.

MC Lars does have an EP out, 'The Laptop' which although does have a couple of crossover songs from this album, if you get the chance to listen, also features some incredibly new and upbeat tracks.

MC Lars is one of those artists you will either love or hate, and personally i love him. I would certainly recommend listening to some free sample of his music before purchasing this album, because what i see as a musical genious, many see as a talentless yob
