Advantages: Cheap, on the main stretch to Barcelona centre, relaxing and functional. Disadvantages: get booked up very quickly in summer, no lift to floors.
.
The reception is not manned all day and all night, but you can obtain you key code for the door (if booked in advance) by inserting the card you used to book into a machine. It prints out the room numbers and the keycode. so it doesn't matter what time you turn up, which is really handy if you are travelling around and don't know what time you will get there. You can also pay for a room with the machine on the door and receive instant access and payment!!
If you have any problems with your room, just let the receptionist know and they are always very happy to help. Need extra pillows (like my dad) they have them in the cleaners cupboard and will get one for you!!!
They have vending machines in the foyer where you will find hot drinks, cold cans, crisps, chocolate and even cold cans of lager!!!!
In Mollet De Valles there are many things to ...
Advantages: Great location & cheap Disadvantages: Not that many food places around
I visited Barcelona this July and stayed at the Hotel Hesperia Del Mar for five nights with 3 other friends and I have to honestly say we all loved it! The hotel price which we got from expedia was one of the most competitive around and we were pleasantly surprised when we got to the hotel, for how cheap the hotel was it was quite nice. It cost for five night my share was 145 so the entire room cost was 290. The hotel reception staff were the highlight of the hotel. They are very friendly, warm and always willing to help! The rooms were standard and offered everything we needed. The bathroom was fully equipped with a shower, toilet, bidet and sink with large mirror. The bedroom consisted of 2 single beds and were comfy. There is air conditioning so we never felt hot and flustered in the room unless we turned it off and forgot to put it ...
Advantages: A beautiful setting with some amazing animals Disadvantages: Is perhaps overshadowed by other attractions
Whilst in Barcelona earlier this year we were looking for somewhere to visit that hadn't been on my tourist's agenda on my previous visits. Having spent a morning at the aquarium in the port are we headed for the Zoo. Located in the middle of the City it is well signposted in every direction and features as one of the main stops on all of the sightseeing tour buses routes. There are a couple of car parks located near to all of the entrances and again this is all well signposted from the city's main access routes.
Over the last couple of years we've visited a few Zoos and Aquariums and it would be fair to say that Barcelona is one of the biggest Zoos. Like many Zoos these days they are signed up to the World Zoo conservation strategy and are committed to breeding programs for endangered species. Having opened for the first time in ...

Album Notes
Personnel: Eduard Iniesta (vocals, acoustic guitar, bouzouki, mandola, tamboura); Cor Vivaldi (vocals); Enric Orti, Xavier Molina (tenor); Xavi Lloses (accordion, piano, Mellotron, programming); Kepa Junquera (accordion); Miquel Angel Cordero (bass instrument); Aleix Tobias (drums, percussion); Coetus Orquestra De Percussiones Iberiques (percussion); Les Puntaires Del Vendrell. Audio Mixer: Marc Parrot. Dramatic, expressive, and dusky, Marina Rossell's voice reflects the same rare mix of vulnerablity and passion that made Edith Piaf's performances so heartbreaking. Since the 1970s, Rossell has been a luminary of Catalan music, and sings these intimate cabaret tunes in the gorgeous language that meshes Spanish fire with French savoir faire. This live album, recorded in 2008, focuses on traditional Catalan numbers, performed with a small backing ensemble at the Liceu Opera House in Barcelona. Standouts include the insistent "Mare de Deu del Mon" and the fragile, a capella "La Mare de Deu Quan era Xiqueta." An extended percussion intro transforms her sweetly hooky hit song "Per Tu Ploro" into an exotic, pounding show-stopper.
