I was all set to buy this album a couple of years ago until I read a review of it stating that this was not vintage Cardy music...... IE, that "My Favourite Game" was just a one-off hit and nothing else on the album could match it. So, I held off buying it.......and then "Erase/Rewind" came out which was an equally moody rock track and I *HAD* to buy the album! The album is pretty good but in my opinion the 2 tracks mentioned above are just *SO* good that they overpower all bar two other tracks on the album. "Paralyzed" certainly comes pretty close to moody rock perfection and "Do You Believe" is a great drum driven dance/rock track. Don't get me wrong, the rest of album is fine but the vocals sort of sound too similar to the other tracks.....which can make you switch from thinking the vocals sound moody to thinking they sound passionless.

Sorry, I don't like rating "fairly helpful"... I just thought you could have said a bit more about the album. I've got "First Band On The Moon" and am none the wiser as to whether I should buy this or not.
