I've only just gotten into Shakira's music because i bought 2 tickets to go see her in Spain next week with my sister who is dying to go. So before i go i thought i would do a bit of research and buy some of her old albums, so i can get to know the songs a bit better. Out of all her old albums i would say this is one of the best ones. Even though i don't speak spanish i can easily listen to the whole of this album and appreciate it for what it is.

Estoy Aqui - Great way to open the album. A really happy upbeat track that can easily be sung a long to. Always put a smile on my face this track and lifts me up whenever i'm down.

Antologia - A nice slow track but with a rythmic beat to it. Her voice sounds so emotional on this track which is great because you really feel the emotions she's going through.

Un Poco de amor - This sounds kind of jamaican to me for some reason, with the instruments and beat to it. This song reminds me of being on a beach on my summer holidays. That's what great about this album, every track takes you somewhere in your mind.

Donde Estas Corazon - Reminds me of Gloria Estefan - Her voice sounds really powerful on this track and i love the way the backing singers sing with her to give the song more of a kick.

Que Me Quedes Tu - This sounds like underneath your clothes, which is good thing. She isn't your typical female singer like britney or Christina. She sings with feeling and simple instruments in the background.

Ciega, Sordomuda - I absolutely love this song. If you don't want to buy the whole album then just download this song on it's own. Feel like im in mexico when im listening to it. I love the way she sings it, so beautifully. I also love like the trumpets and guitars used for this.

Si Te Vas - I really like the way she sings this song. She sings it kind of rocky and fast then soft and more slow. This song has so many levels to it, just by the way she sings it. Yet again it feels like a power anthem.

No Creo (Live) - This track just proves that not only can she sing great in the studio but when it comes to getting on the stage she is amazing. The beat of this song gets your foot tapping and you get caught up with the song.

Inevitable - Looking forward to hearing this song on the tour. Its a nice power ballad, she sings the verses slow and then at the chorus just puts her all into it.

Ojos Asi - Another favourite of mine. I cannot explain how good this song. It's spanish/arabic and so upbeat it just gets you up trying belly dancing. It's so fierce and full of power.

Suerte - Spanish version of whenever, wherever. This song is what made Shakira get into the commercial market. I still love this song, just because of the great peruvian pipes used and the tongue in cheek lyrics.

Te Aviso, Te Anuncio - Spanish version of Objection. Can imagine this song being played in a latin club. Its about fighting with another woman for a mans attention.

Tu (Live) - Sends chills up my spine. She sings it so well live and i just love the simple piano and guitar with her soothing voice. No other female voice compares to her when you listen to this song.

Donde Estan Los Ladrones (Live) - yet again another live track. This album is just full of lots of little treats. On these live tracks she really proves that she isn't just a one hit wonder, but a beautiful woman who can sing and dance.

Moscas en la Casa - A really slow spanish inspired song, but somehow it feels upbeat with the rhythm of the guitar.

All in all i just love this album. It's so difficult to describe each track. Her voice is so amazing and different. The music she sings to is so raw and emotional instead of american pop cheesy music. She really sings how she feels. I just love her and i can't wait to see her perform some of these songs live. I really recommend this album to anyone who wants to get into Shakira's music. This will definitely sway you to be a fan of hers and i can't wait for her next album now.
