Advantages: Great tracks, Mature music, Mello Disadvantages: Needs something more
...INTRO
Jamiroquai has always been a very successful band in the UK and the rest of Europe, where they ride high in the musical charts. Their latest album "Dynamite" is preceeded by many amazing previous albums, such as "A funk odyssey" and "Travelling without moving". If you liked these albums, you will love whatDynamite has to offer, its great! I have always been a fan of jamiroquai anyway but i would recommend them to anyone who wants some real music that wasnt manufactured.
SONGS
There are 12 tracks on the album, including the hit "Feels just like it should", which was released a few months ago. All of the tracks carry the unique Jamiroquai vibe, which is an ecclectic mix of Electronica/Dance/Jazz/Rock, whilst still remaining different so each track has its own unique personality. Advantages: Makes you feel Christmassy! Disadvantages: But not in July!
...- The Christmas Album. It's the archetypal hollydrenched song. Kids choir, important message, bells, brackets in the title, the works. Get rid of the kids choir and change the lyrics and you'll STILL have a top track on your hands.

The very first charity single to make it to number one. Readers of my 80's-slanted reviews will guess that I'm in heaven here: Paul Young, Boy George, George Michael, Sting, Bono, Bananarama (artatthemovies, down boy!), Simon Le Bon. Greatsong, naff lyrics (except Bono's bit) and sounds great any time of year. Sort of.
3. Merry Christmas Everybody - Slade
The daddy of all Christmas songs is this timeless effort from Noddy and the boys. Come on, how many of you have screamed "It's Chriiiiiiiiiiiistmas" in the pub at midnight on Christmas Eve?
4. I Wish It Could...

Advantages: Mix of ballads and silly songs, engaging performance Disadvantages: Some weak orchestration here and there
...of life and purpose, full of people living full lives and going places, all except the singer, who wonders 'where do you go when you don't even know what it is you desire?' The instrumentation swoops around the melody and Graae's voice gets a great work-out on this track, demonstrating power which is only hinted at elsewhere.
Side-stepping over some of the other tracks, so as not to extend this review even further, I must just mention two more. The album's title song, which is from Annie, Strouse's most famous work, is given an intriguing interpretation which swings a bit and is the most jazzy of the tracks. Backed initially by a bass, later joined by piano, percussion and finally a brass section, this is the only track where liberties are taken with the tune, and it works because it's completely right for the style chosen for this track...
