~~~ Background ~~~
Our Lady Peace are an Canadian band and have been around since 1994 when their first album “Naveed” was released. The album review for this is their fifth album “Gravity” I bought the album after hearing “Not Enough” from the album on WWE wrestling programming. Instantly liking the passion about it I bought the album from HMV.
~~~ The tracks on the album ~~~
The album contains only ten tracks and has a complete running time of 41 minutes and 32 seconds. The figures in brackets are the run times for each song.

1. All For You (4.14) – A brilliant tune to open the album full of rock and recognisable lyrics.
2. Do You Like It (3.58) – One of the more recognisable songs of the album with great tune and lyrics. I find myself singing along to this a lot.
3. Somewhere Out There (4.11) – One of the slower songs from the album like they usually produce however it still contains the same spirit of other songs.
4. Innocent (3.42) – Another one of my favourites on the album because of its lyrics and meaning behind it. You can imagine a chorus of kids singing this at the choruses!
5. Made Of Steel (3.41) – Another of the less rocky songs and maybe one of the weak links of the album.
6. Not Enough (4.33) – Very meaningful and moving. I like this song as it’s the first I heard from Our Lady Peace. The way it is written is done very well.
7. Sell My Soul (4.20) – Another of the slower rock songs that is what makes this album good to relax to.
8. Sorry (3.18) – A good upbeat song that possibly should be higher up on the play list of the album.
9. Bring Back The Sun (5.11) – A long slow song which maybe out of place here and should have been saved for the end of the album. Not the best one.
10. A Story About A Girl (4.18) – A decent song to end the album but maybe should have been something with a louder tone to make a final impact.

Produced by Bob Rock.

~~~ Originality ~~~
The whole album features like there others strong instruments with guitars, drums and vocals. Some of the songs are pretty similar once again but that’s there style. They have a mix of rock and slow rock songs. The lyrics are once again distinguishable and each word is pronounced well. This album I’d say is one of the best from the ones they have produced. It is original with the times nowadays and its unfortunate they are not with the likes of Nickelback from Canadian music success.
~~~ Lyrics ~~~
As I think this is one of there best albums then the lyrics are very meaningful and honest which tackle some real issues. They are original and include melodies and harmonies within the mix of rock and the whole album is written very well. The album insert also includes the lyrics to the songs so if you need to check them out they are available.

~~~ Quality & Consistency of Tracks ~~~
The whole album flows very well with the each song having its own contribution to the album. The quality of the tracks are put across well and can be heard very clearly in whatever kind of CD player you use. The consistency has been put together well over all as the songs flow well into each other making it an album which you can easily have playing in the back ground while you relax. I use in the background when studying!
~~~ Cover & Design Content ~~~
The cover design is quite plain. It features the band name and the band members in black and white. Nothing too exciting about it. The back cover of the CD continues the black and white / grey theme but it features a very clear album song list. The actual CD is rather bland in just black and silver. It is a copy from the back of the CD but it does feature the song list. The inlay contains only 6 inside pages. The photography of the inlay is once again black and white feature views of scenes like a beach and a tree. The lyrics are displayed in order however the text could be a little on the small side.

~~~ Prices ~~~
I got mine from a HMV shop from Leeds. I paid around 13 pounds for it so it’s once again likely to be cheaper online. Since I have bought it prices could have increased.
~~~ Round Up ~~~
Our Lady Peace's album Gravity is their fifth album that was released in 2002. The Canadian band's album features songs "Somewhere Out There” Do You Like It” and “Not Enough” The whole album has variety like their previous albums of slow and fast loud rock songs. I find this a great album to relax to. I really recommend this album for any one who hasn’t heard Our Lady Peace before it gives you a full taste of there abilities overall.
