Get yer tennis racket out, cos it's Air Guitar!!!
Review of Best Air Guitar Album In The World...ever Vol.1, The - Various Artists by  Tonyoverdrive

Advantages: It rocks
Disadvantages: A few iffy tracks

..., the album is made up of two CD's, featuring 42 great hits by a myriad of various different artists, spanning five decades of rock music. The first CD comprises 20 songs (more than the average single CD compilation contains), each with individuality and plectrum melting flair: Queen - Tie your mother down A classic Quen rock hit, featuring the compiler himself, Brian May. One of Queens greatest riffs of all time. Deep Purple - Smoke on the Water This had to be there. Everyone knows the riff, and the solo has some brilliant moments that are signature of Ritchie Blackmore and Deep Purple . Blur - Song 2 Modern rock with a subtle verse and headbanging chorus. A great and memorable tune but lacks a screaming solo. Aerosmith Ft. Run DMC - Walk This Way Rap on an air guitar album??? You must be kidding! But this collaboration... Read review

Xtreme hardcore
Review of Clubland X-Treme Vol.1 [PA] - Various Artists by  kappaslappa

Advantages: It is fan-funky-tastic
Disadvantages: None

..., not for the music this time, which is quite 'normal' house music, but I like it for the lyrics. It is about a guy in a restaurant who has ordered a pizza, he is Italian, and words like Fork get confused with something else. Its more amusing than good I have to add, I can’t see it being played in any club for people to dance to. Surprisingly Cisco Kid has been around since 1998 and has had various tunes around the clubs 8. Lollipop (X-Rated Mix) - DJ Aligator Project "I wanna suck your lollipop" are how the lyrics begin with the following lyrics “I wanna taste it, let me suck it” sadly the lyrics aren’t as good as the trance style music in the background and yet another for the parental sticker on the album cover. Ali is the name of the leader of the DJ Aligator Project and he comes from Denmark. 9. If You Leave Me Now (Aldrich... Read review

Shake Rattle and Roll
Review of Shake, Rattle And Roll - Various Artists by  Suzan

Advantages: Loads of Hits from the Golden Era of Rock N Roll
Disadvantages: None

...A Lula” (she’s my baby.) I have to mention one of my other favourites,”Diana” by Paul Anka, which was played ad nauseam when the Prince of Wales became engaged to Lady Diana Spencer, although the lyrics seem poignant now… “…Oh please, stay by me, Diana…” There are fifty tracks on this marvellous album and I’m sure to have missed some, but I think I have included the best-known artists and tracks. Also featured are Danny and The Juniors, B Bumble and the Stingers and The Marcels. So there you have it. Fifty great RockNRoll hits from the Golden Era.Whether you lived through the era, just missed it, or are far too young to remember it, I think you will enjoy this album. The cover of The No 1 RockNRoll Album features a Fifties Jukebox. The album... Read review
