I'm suprised that 2Pac who made a massive impact on not only the rap scene but the music industry has not been wrote about more often. Many people will know 2Pac as a poet, actor and rapper but some consider him to be a bad boy a thug whatever you define him as his music is a joy to listen to.
This album has all his graetest hits from his first album '2Pacalypse Now' to his last before the greatest hits album 'Don Killuminati - The 7 Day Theory'. His music speaks volumes one song could about his struggles in life and the next could be about how he enjoys life.
He also had a distinguised music career like many other rappers such as Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg and others 2PAc has the first major rapper to act in a film. His film list includes 'Juice', 'Above The Rim', 'Menace To Society' and the last film he made before his death 'Gang Related'. Its quite amazing that in such a short music career he has released so many albums and even had time to make 4 movies.
Of course many people will know that 2Pac was shot dead in las vegas in 1996. Its still unknown who the attacker was many suspected his friend and the notorious owner of death row records suge knight. The shooting was filled with controversy his friend Kadafi was set to give evidence but was shot dead just days before.

So may classics on this album so I've decided to knock them down to my Top 5 on the album
Andy's Top 5 ------------
5. 2 Of Amerikaz Most Wanted ---------------------------- This song was from his album all eyez on me which most songs on the album are from. Snoop Dogg is in this song which makes it instantly better. having these 2 rappers who were the hottest talents out at the time makes it a class song. The mix of a catchy tune and great technique makes it a cut above the rest
4. Brendas Got A Baby --------------------- This song is from his first album and is different to most of his usual tunes. The songs charector brenda is a 12 year old girl that is having a baby. Its the fact that 2Pac is a poet that this song goes very well, he covers all the dangers of having a baby underage in 'The ghetto'.
3. Keep Ya Head Up ------------------ This is one of the classics the song was released just before he went to jail and he gets his point across. The song is very deep its mainly about women and how he thinks they should be treated with more respect. The song is excellently constructed which made him one of the best rappers ever.
2. Me Against The World ----------------------- This song was released after the first time Tupac was shot. Amazingly he was shot 5 times and didn't die. This song is about the struggles in life. He was shot 5 times for being in the wrong place he was killed for being famous which is a common thing in modern day society
1. California Love ------------------ This is without a doubt his most famous song. The song features Dr. Dre a man he later accused of being lazy and also made accusations that he was gay. That aside this really is a quality song. Everybody knows it for the electro kind of beats used in the song. 2Pac did this song for his love of california as thats where he spent most of his time.
Many people still believe that 2Pac is still alive due to the many facts. Things like he had no funeral and the whole 7 day theory which is to much to go into. The strange thing is half of his songs referred to death in some way. 'How long will they mourn me?', 'Hail Mary', 'To Live And Die In L.A.' are all classic examples that he himself was obsessed with death.
Many people in the rap industry end up being shot from so called 'Playa Haters' who don't like people from the ghetto becoming something big. Well whatever 2Pac is dead or alive it doesn't stop him being the greatest rapper that ever lived.
This album can be purchased from any music store and also online at many music sites. Thank You for rading my op, hope it was an interesting read
Advantages: Compilation of all the best tracks Disadvantages: none
...of the past.
Greatest Hits has 21 old songs (some redone with new rappers) and four new songs. These are a small incentive to get the double album if you already have all of Tupac's old releases (as I do), but if you're just getting into Tupac or want to simply complete your Death Row collection (as I do), this is a worthy addition. Of course, just as with Death Row Greatest Hits, I disagree with the inclusion of some songs, as well as the lack ...

Advantages: Great album and great songs from a legend Disadvantages: None to my great knowledge
This is a greatest hits album by Tupac Shuaker. There is every hit that he ever had on here. It is a great selection of songs from when he was alive and also some of the songs that where brought out after his death. The only bad thing about this album is that there is some strong language in some songs, and a few tracks are disappointing. Tupac was always trying new things with his songs and in a few of them it didn't work, for example: 'Two of americas ... ...my opinion Tupac is the greatest rap artist this world has ever had, and will ever see. Some people still think that he is alive but unfortunatly i've seen some grusome pictures and can say that he is definatly dead. Anyways, back to the album.
-- Brendas got a baby --
When I first heard this song i have to say I really didn't like it, but as I listened to it more it started to grow on me. This song is about a 12 year old girl who gets pregnant ...

Hi well yes I am writing another tupac review.Well this is a collaboration of topics best sellers or best songs that he made. This is a two disc album and is fantastic every song every word is great here are the tracks on the first disc:
KEEP YA HEAD UP
2 OF AMERIKAZ MOST WANTED
TEMPTATIONS
GOD BLESS THE DEAD
HAIL MARY
ME AGAINST THE WORLD
HOW DO YOU WANT IT SO MANY TEARS
UNCONDITIONAL LOVE
TRAPPED
LIFE GOES ON
HIT EM' UP
The ones I prefer ... ...HEAD UP its good but I don't particularly like it,2 OF AMERIKAZ MOST WANTED, TRAPPED. These are good songs but I just don't like them as much as the other ones.
TEMPTATIONS This is a good song I think because tupac talks about girls and how hard it is to stay true because there are so many temptations out there. I have to admit I have not stayed true to one of my girls because of temptations, and I regret it so much now. So I would just like to ...

Advantages: Brilliant tracks Disadvantages: 2pac is dead
Tupac Shakur is, in my opinion, one of the best rappers ever. He wrote rap with real feeling. Unlike Eminem and Dre who write pointless lyrics about things which haven't happened and probably never will, 2pac put real meaning into his lyrics. This album is a collection of his best hits and any proper rap fan should have this album. Tracks such as Hit 'em up, Troublesome '96, How long will they mourn me and the amazing Changes are featured and buying ...

...is a compilation of the greatest of his hits over the years and a couple of unreleased ones. Already possessing a few of his previous albums, I realised he was a great artist before I bought this, but with all his greatest songs compiled back to back, it makes you realise how much of a brilliant rapper Tupac Shakur is. This ‘Greatest Hits’ album is jam packed with 25 songs, 23 of which are works of art. Unlike many rappers nowadays, Tupac scarcely ... ...ability he actually has got, yet he appears in 2 songs with Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre. This gives the album a bit of diversity and a few lesser-known rappers in a couple of songs also. It is quite hard to pick my best track of this album, because there is so many outstanding ones, but I would recommend you to listen to Unconditional Love, I Ain’t Mad At ‘Cha and Hit ‘Em Up as soon as you unwrap this treasure. Genius. ...

Advantages: Classic album shocasing the best of 2pac Disadvantages: A few weak tracks, which should not have been included
Greatesthits albums are usually not considered as classics nor generally do they define the pinnacle of an artist's career. However when it comes to 2pac's greatesthits there is an exception.
Why is there an exception, well it can be put down to 2 major reasons. Firstly he was in the mid 90's the most famous rapper. Although his fame did not reach the heights as the likes of Eminem or Jay-Z today, he was still nevertheless reasonably famous and an exceptionally talented rapper. Secondly and perhaps most importantly though was the tragic fact that he had died just shortly before the release of this album. 2pac had been shot dead in a murder case that is still unresolved till this day and has been the subject of many conspiracy theories. However sad this event was it can not hide the fact that it catapulted 2pac into a famous ...

Though posthumous albums are often only a record company's vision of how to make more money, 2PAC's GREATEST HITS is just what it promises; a collection of all his hottest tracks, chart toppers, and street jams. Tracks from his time spent on both Interscope Records and Death Row Records are included, as are three previously unreleased tracks, "Unconditional Love," "God Bless the Dead" and "Troublesome '96." Among the numerous hits from 2PAC on this generous two-CD set are "Brenda's Got a Baby"; "Keep Your Head Up"; "2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted," featuring Snoop Dogg; and "How Do You Want It," featuring K-Ci & JoJo. Among the other standouts are "I Get Around," featuring Digital Underground; "California Love," featuring Dr. Dre; and "Dear Mama." 2PAC's GREATEST HITS leaves you with the sad feeling that one of the world's greatest performers left the planet way too early.
