Advantages: Fantastic collection of songs Disadvantages: A shame that only 18 could be included
...The 1980's combination of Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart was nothing less than complete genius.
The vocal skills of Annie Lennox teamed with the vocal, but maybe more instrumentally talented, Dave Stewart made an inspirational duo that managed to make a large impact on the music of the 1980's, the likes of which we will probably never see again from a union of just 2 people.
Released in 1991, Eurythmics GreatestHits catalogues a success of chart topping singles from 1982-89, the very best from the numerous albums they made.
A mix of some quite up beat hits such as 'Sisters Are Doin' It For Themselves' (featuring Aretha Franklin) and 'Thorn In My Side' with the more ballad like 'Miracle Of Love' and 'Angel' makes this a must for the music collection of both Eurythmics fans and anyone with appreciation of great British pop....

...Remember when Rod Stewart used to prance about in skin tight leopard-skin? Well thank goodness he ditched that image! 'Da ya think i'm sexy' is just one of 16 songs which make up this greatesthits album originally released in 1989. Other songs included are:-
Maggie may, you wear it well, sailing, the first cut is the deepest, every beat of my heart, downtown train, and what am i gonna do.
This is a great collection of his most successful hits with both lively numbers and slow numbers on the album making it one you would enjoy playing time and time again - i know i do. Rod Stewart has been on the scene now for many years and although not making a comeback in the way Tom Jones has, i think he is a very talented singer who has produced some great stuff during this time. Definitely one for the cd collection if you are a fan....

...Rod Stewart's album - 'if we fall in love tonight', is a superb album of love songs and definitely one of my favourite albums of all time. It contains 16 tracks, 5 of which are new material and the other 11 are greatesthit ballads and include:-
If we fall in love tonight, when i need you(remember the Leo Sayer one?), sometimes when we touch, tonight's the night, you're in my heart, have i told you lately?, downtown train, all for love(with Sting and Bryan Adams), for the first time and i don't want to talk about it.
If you like Rod Stewart, then you will love this album. If you don't like Rod then have a listen anyway, you might well be surprised. This is a very relaxing album - i enjoy listening to it when i am in the bath. Released in 1996, you can still obtain this - expect to pay around the £15 mark for it now as it...
