Advantages: Good consistant dance music Disadvantages: Can get a little repetative
...On the first look at who this review was about you may be forgiven for thinking 'who the hell are cappella?'. Well they havn't done anything major for a couple of years now but as the title says the album is a bit of a dance classic. First let me just refresh you on who cappella actually are.
This was their most successful album release shooting straight into the top 10 album charts in 1994. The album spawned an impressive 5 top 10 hits, all of which were dance floor classics. Cappella have had many different singers fronting the group, but for this album it was Rodney Bishop and Kelly Overett. This album sold very rapid all across europe and no doubt earned them a few quid along the way. So, to the album....
1. U Got 2 Know - This was the first release off the album and went to no.6 in the UK charts. It's fast trance beat...

Advantages: Nice collectors album Disadvantages: none
...Nice to have an album of what is essentially this group's recordings when they reformed in 1976. It is therefore the best of CBS recordings from their two CBS LPs - not the well known earlier 1970s top ten hits.
For collectors it fills the gap in their CD collections. Nice that is not a re re re release of g/hits albums. It is 'what is says on the tin.' No frills compilation that came about thanks to Nic Culverwell, who is a life long fan, and now the present line up's manager. He fought for this and got the cd out through perseverance.
Nice to have this CD if your original of these albums or 7i vinyls are a bit scratched and done! One for fans or anyone wanting to hear a great a cappella version of Anthem!
The cover on this CD shows the band members who sing on this CD-some new seekers cds have photos of a line up...

...playing. However Brian’s writing skills have now been discovered.
I won’t bore you with a list of everything that he has written or co-written, but one of Brian’s first tracks he wrote, featured on the album entitled ‘Coast to Coast’, and was called ‘Fragile Heart’ He and Shane co-wrote (along with two others) ‘Bop, Bop Baby, which is featured on ‘World Of Our Own’ and ‘Unbreakable- The GreatestHits VOL.,I’
Shane, not only enjoyed music, but show jumping as well. He had a big choice to make, as to whether to concentrate on singing, or pursue a career in the show jumping profession. Luckily – for some of us – he chose the former profession. His voice is such that he is their lead singer on the majority of their recordings. My opinion is that out of all five Westlife individuals, he would be the one most likely to succeed in a solo career...
