...Yes, when I first heard that tune 'Doctor Beat', I thought, my word - she's not going to get very far is she? Well, I guess I was badly wrong becuase quite a few people out there like her! This album was given to me from an ex-husband, and you know how we don't like to play those type of things. But then again, I want to keep it because I might want to listen to it one day! The only tracks that I like on this album are 'Conga', 'Word's get in the way', 'Don't wanna lose you' and 'Coming out of the Dark'. Apart from those few, I would tend to click through the rest. OOOps - sorry Gloria! However, for the average Gloria Estefan fan, this would be an ideal album to have.... Read review

..." or "Greatest Hits Volume 1". This song is great value for money because you will never stop playing it once you have got it it is so catchy it rings in your ears, in a good way of course! I think the type of people who would like this song are lovers and maried couples who want to stay together forever from Gloria's lyrics for it is hard to pass on the street when you have indeed said goodbye. This song is a pure original because no one else would make it sound quite like Gloria does also this tune has shelf life of eternity you will just want more and more of its flavour. This song is better in my opinion than Gloria Estefan's other releases The reason I would recommend this to potential buyers is because you will grow to love this timeless piece of art by a lady who knows and believes in what she sings... Advantages: Classic album shocasing the best of 2pac
Disadvantages: A few weak tracks, which should not have been included

...Greatest hits albums are usually not considered as classics nor generally do they define the pinnacle of an artist's career. However when it comes to 2pac's greatest hits there is an exception. Why is there an exception, well it can be put down to 2 major reasons. Firstly he was in the mid 90's the most famous rapper. Although his fame did not reach the heights as the likes of Eminem or Jay-Z today, he was still nevertheless reasonably famous and an exceptionally talented rapper. Secondly and perhaps most importantly though was the tragic fact that he had died just shortly before the release of this album. 2pac had been shot dead in a murder case that is still unresolved till this day and has been the subject of many conspiracy theories.
