As I had already purchased the 60's & 70's version of this compilation and found it not only good to use to set questions for music quizzes but also good to listen to, I decided to buy this set when I saw it in the shops. At a price of £19.95 but this time for only 8 CDs with less tracks it does not represent as good value if you simply compare the price/number of tracks ratio. However the overall quality and choice of songs makes it at least equal in value to its forerunner. Again many classic tracks (all original recordings) are featured and amongst the artistes are Kim Wilde, Culture Club, Blondie, Spandau Ballet, Duran Duran,Eddie Grant, Kate Bush and Dr. Hook to name but a few.
