I had this bought for me for Mother's Day after a gentle nudge in the right direction and various hint dropping. With over 19 songs ranging from the late 1960's, this CD has every favourite record on it from her singing career. The earliest song on here is The Look of Love which has to be an all time favourite with most people, if anyone denies singing along to it I think they would be telling porkies.
A full list of the songs are as follows:-
Baby Don't Change Your Mind (1977) The Way we Were (1974) License to Kill (1989) (James Bond Theme) Best Thing That Ever Happened to Me (1973) Midnight Train to Georgia (1973) Help Me Make It Through The Night (1972) Take Me in Your Arms and Love Me (1967) Come Back and Finish What You Started (1978) The One & Only (1978) So Sad The Song (1976) The Look Of Love (1968) Part Time Love (1975) Neither One of Us (1972) Bourgie Bourgie (1980) Taste of Bitter Love (1980) Make Yours a Happy Home (1974) Love Overboard (1987) Save the Overtime (For Me) (1983) The Wind Beneath My Wings (1983)
For all Motown lovers out there, this CD is a must, it is Easy Listening, relaxing, soothing.
It's a CD you can put on for most occasions, it would be lovely background music, it's not overpowering and I personally love Ironing to it, which I hate doing, but listening to this CD puts me in a great mood and you find yourself happily singing along with it, I would highly recommend it.
